Maria DeVillota, who was the test driver for the Marussia team, was found dead at a hotel in Spain yesterday. She just last year lost her right eye in an accident where she collided with a truck, but she had been cleared to be able to drive again. Her cause of death is unknown. Rest in peace Ms. DeVillota.
In Central Texas, rain is something not seen very often, but it was appropriately damp for the All British Car Day. While they sky was overcast and gray, with an occasional light drizzle, it did not dampen the spirits or turnout for this annual gathering of incredible English Automobiles. There was a very nice turnout of classic and modern cars from across the pond, from the small and simple to the elegant and even royal. From Aston Martin and Bentley to Morris Mini and more. A huge thank you to sponsors John Eagle European and Jaguar/Land Rover Austin.
