Sorry it took so long to post these pictures. The Dan Kruse Autorama/World of Wheels in San Antonio was a great event, with all kinds of amazing cars and bikes, as well as vendors, demonstrations, stunt bike riding, and of course, fair food! It was a great event and we look forward to many more with Kruse events.
Well it is already starting to look like last years F1 series with Lewis Hamilton winning the first race of the season and his teammate, Nico Rossberg, coming in second. Last year’s battle between the two Mercedes teammates made for an exciting, nail-biting season. Ferrari also made a good turn out today with Sebastian Vettel coming in third.
Only 15 were able to line up on the grid due to a rash of technical failures and Venezuelan Pastor Maldonado then crashed his Lotus into the barriers on the first lap, bringing out the safety car. Williams driver Valtteri Bottas was ruled out less than an hour before the race due to a back injury he sustained during qualifying.
All things considered it was a terrific race today and we here at Races2U look for to the rest of the season. Hope to see some of you at the F1 Watch Parties this year at Bone Daddy’s.

Races2U has been blessed to have met so many great people in the automotive world, and was fortunate enough to have been invited by one of these great folks to participate in a party for the Aston Martin drivers in Austin for the Pirelli World Challenge race at Circuit of the Americas this weekend. A huge “Thank you” to our wonderful hosts Sonny Morgan and Steve Late of Late European Motorsports and TRG-Aston Martin Racing for having us be a part of this event. Best wishes to all the Aston Martin drivers this weekend, especially our Austin hometown champion driver Mark McKenzie. If slot car racing is indicative of future performance, the younger Mr. McKenzie seems to be following in his father’s footsteps!
