Races2U has a slot car track set up at OSCON at the Austin Convention Center. Sponsored by OReilly, OSCON is where the open source community gathers to celebrate achievements, spark new ideas, and map the future of open computing through collaboration and education. One of the other booths had an electric powered skateboard which a couple of the Races2U girls took for a test ride. Today Races2U owner Warren Peck was at the Circuit of the Americas with the Porsche club for a track event, and was fortunate enough to get a tour in the Pagani paddock. These incredibly beautiful hand-built Italian automobiles really demonstrate the artistic legacies of DaVinci and Michelangelo. The Races2U Alfa Romeo also got to take a spin on the track, and is also a great work of Italian craftsmanship, though a lot less expensive than these seven-figure hyper-cars! A big “Thank you” to Rika and David of the Hill Country chapter of Porsche Club of America for inviting Races2U to this event.
Come join Hewlett Packard Enterprises and Races2U at the OpenStack Summit across the street from the Austin Convention Center this week. This is a must attend event for anyone who is involved in cloud computing, from IT to telecommunications to app development. Our track is set up in the HPE Hospitality tent at the Textile Center across the street from the Austin Convention Center. HPE is also featuring the new motorized two-wheeled transportation from URB-E as part of their display. Come over and play with us!
What an amazing event. Races2U was proud to be a small part of such a huge extravaganza. The Mecum Auto Auction in Houston occupied hundreds of thousands of square feet at the NRG center in Houston, with a thousand cars going across the auction block over 3 days. There were some amazing vechicles, including a Ford GT Heritage edition that went for over $400K. We had a lot of fun racing our slot cars with guests and bidders young and old.

Races2U will be closed Easter Sunday to allow our employees to spend time with their friends and family.
This is our third appearance at this amazing event. There is something for every car and motorcycle lover here at the Freeman coliseum. From hot rods to dragsters to Nascars, and even one of the original Batmobiles from the 1960’s as well as the “Captain America” bike from Easy Rider.
