There were so many amazing vehicles on display, as well as live musical performances, cigar making, and many other vendors. Happy St. Patrick's Day

This week we are celebrating the history of some of the most well-known Irish Race Car Drivers with our St. Patrick's themed logo.

Famous Irish race car drivers include Formula 1 veterans Derek Daly and Tommy Byrne, alongside modern drifting champion James Deane and rising talent Alex Dunne. Notable drivers often competing with Irish licenses include Joe Kelly, Ralph Firman, and Martin Donnelly, many of whom achieved success in junior formulae and endurance racing. 

Here are some of the most notable Irish racing drivers:

- Derek Daly: A highly successful Irish F1 driver (1978–1982) who raced for teams like Hesketh, Ensign, Tyrrell, and Williams, later achieving success in CART and sports car racing.
- Tommy Byrne: Often cited as one of Ireland's most talented drivers, who competed in F1 in 1982 for Theodore and dominated junior formula racing, with many believing he deserved better opportunities.
- James Deane: A world-renowned drift driver, he is the first and only five-time Formula Drift Champion, marking him as a legend in the sport.
- Ralph Firman: Raced in F1 in 2003 with Jordan Grand Prix and brought considerable success to Ireland in junior categories, including the British Formula 3 Championship.

Races2U partnered with Street Factory Media to create a spectacular slot car track for Interstate Batteries.  As Interstate is one of the primary sponsors of legendary NASCAR driver Kyle Busch, we worked to create an oval track that would allow them to demonstrate their brand in a way that would be fun and exciting for their team building and trade shows.  We created a 6'x10' rolling base built using steel cabinets mounted on a welded frame.  This gave the unit a "garage" look and provided ample storage space for Interstate to store promotional materials and decor that will accompany the track as it travels around the country.   One of the unique aspects of this track is that we installed a camera system to display the racing in real time similar to a "Jumbotron", with cameras capturing the action on the track as well as the audience watching the races.  Another feature was the vinyl wraps applied to the cars by Street Factory.  Their incredible design and fabrication team used designs from current and past Interstate race cars to create miniature replicas that sped down the track.  The wraps held up very well under very demanding conditions, and the cars looked none the worse for wear after hours of use and abuse by hundreds of novice racers.  They also printed the wrap that adorned the cabinets as well as decorating the track walls and creating a huge logo on the infield.  A special thanks to Brian and Ted of Monaco Vintage Motorcars for the use of their knowledge, equipment, and garage in the construction of the track.  We really appreciate all your help. https://www.races2u.com/racing-the-kyle-busch-car-in-orlando/

It seems like Races2U is becoming a Las Vegas Trade Show specialist.  This month we had the privilege to work with Fujitsu, who was one of the main sponsors of the NetApp Insight conference.  The Fujitsu booth was the most popular in the show, with lines of people coming to race, and spectators cheering on as they competed to win a laptop.  Fujitsu were very gracious hosts and had some amazing technology on display.  It was great working with them, and we hope to do it again in the near future. https://www.races2u.com/back-in-vegas-again/

Reladyne was a major sponsor of the NASCAR race at Circuit of the Americas February 27 to March 1, 2026. They hired us to bring a slot car track for everyone to enjoy in the Fan Zone. We had a great time racing with all the NASCAR fans of all ages. Not sure who enjoyed it more, the kids or the adults. A wonderful time was had by all. We even got to enjoy a race with Logan Schuchart of the Reladyne/Duramax team. Of course, he beat all the competition on the track!
