White and Case event at The Podium
To quote Tom Cruise in Risky Business, "Porsche... there is no substitute."
White & Case recently hosted a Departure Reception at The Podium at Porsche River Oaks to celebrate the firm's 2026 Houston Summer Associate Class and mark the successful completion of another outstanding Summer Program. The event brought together attorneys, summer associates, and firm guests for an evening of celebration, reflection, and friendly competition.
Guests enjoyed a beautiful venue surrounded by Porsche's impressive lineup of vehicles, along with great food, drinks, and gelato from Constantino. For entertainment, Races2U delivered an immersive racing simulator experience that quickly became one of the highlights of the evening.
To complement the Porsche setting, we selected Gran Turismo 7 as our racing platform, giving participants the opportunity to compete in a variety of Porsche models across world-renowned tracks. The virtual cars were customized with White & Case branding, and the simulators featured Fanatec's Porsche-approved steering wheels to create an authentic racing experience.
The competition was fierce from start to finish. Trophies were awarded to the top three drivers, with only seconds separating the winning lap times. While Houston's damp weather made an appearance, it certainly did not dampen the excitement as attendees celebrated the accomplishments of the summer associates and the successful conclusion of the program.
Congratulations to the 2026 Houston Summer Associate Class and thank you to everyone who helped make the summer such a success.

RC Racing with LSI Industries
LSI is a commercial indoor and outdoor lighting and display solutions company. They hired us to set up an RC track in their trade show booth at the LightX Expo at the Gaylord Texan resort and convention center in Dallas (Grapevine), Texas. The Expo was an opportunity for manufactures and distributors in the lighting industry to network with many of their biggest customers and also participate in educational courses about innovations in the industry. LSI is one of the biggest names in the industry, and it was obvious that this company has a lot of respect and goodwill from their clients. The team was really easy to work with , and everyone enjoyed the racing. This was a great opportunity for them to display their various product lines, because to be able to race on the track, each participant was required to visit 3 stations and learn about the various lighting solutions. Everyone wanted to race, so they willingly participated.
For this event, we setup a 10x20 road course and raced custom branded Kyosho Mini-Z remote controlled cars. We installed transponders into the cars so we could keep track of how many people raced, best times, and other data. The racing was fast and fun as we kept the large crowd of lighting professionals engaged for the entire duration of the event.
