Races2U founder is a US Navy veteran, having served from the 1980's to the 2000's. He spent much of that time deployed overseas, supporting the NATO mission during the collapse of the former Yugoslavia and the disastrous humanitarian mission in Somalia. He was serving at the Navy Yards in Washington DC on September 11, 2001 when terrorists flew an airplane into the Navy wing of the Pentagon, killing friends and colleagues along with thousands of others in New York and Pennsylvania.
