Races2U was in Washington DC for the Freedom 250 Indycar Race. While we've attended many races over the years, this one was really special. Several race series, including Formula 1, and especially Indycar, hold street races each year. Many larger races in the United States and some other countries also begin with military flyovers. A lot of races attract hundreds of thousands of fans and celebrities. This one had it all, and cranked up to the next level. This once-in-a-lifetime event commenced with not one, but SEVEN military flyovers, honoring each branch of the military and even a flyover of the presidential plane Air Force 1. There was even a trained Bald Eagle that did a flyover the pits! The commencement was given by the President of the United States. All against the beautiful backdrop of marble and granite museums and monuments and the US Capitol. It was an incredible experience.
